Arash and Arman Besharat built an A-frame cabin, which they subsequently extended and transformed over 3 years to create a characterful home. This contemporary cabin-style self build home was built inspired by Scandinavian architecture and interiors and includes extra insulation to compete with the harsh northern climate. Proving that a speedy and beautiful build on a tight plot is possible, Arash and Arman constructed their A-frame home in the corner of their family farm with the help of their tenacious spirit and the carpentry skills they got. The last module added to this cabin, made it a treehouse that embraces its surroundings like no other. Imaginative budget solutions combined with beautiful Passivhaus design mean this house is like no other. Now a days, Arash and his wife Melody are living here and they named it Ashianeh (The nest).
